What IV therapy at Drip Envy includes

IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly into your bloodstream through a small catheter in the arm. Because the infusion bypasses digestion, the full dose is available to your body right away, which is why many guests report noticing the effects during the same visit.

At Drip Envy in Boca Raton, every drip starts with sterile IV fluid and is infused by a registered nurse under physician supervision. Our menu covers twelve formulas, from the classic Myers' Cocktail to NAD+, so you can match the drip to how you want to feel. IV therapy is elective wellness care, not a substitute for emergency or primary medical care.

How a visit works

Your first visit takes about an hour from door to door, and repeat visits are quicker. Here is what to expect:

  • Walk in or book online. We are on US-1 between Glades Road and Spanish River Blvd, open Monday–Saturday, 9 AM–6 PM, and Sunday, 10 AM–4 PM.
  • Complete a short health questionnaire and a quick vitals check with your nurse.
  • Choose your drip, settle into a luxury recliner, connect to the WiFi and help yourself to refreshments.
  • Your RN places the IV, adjusts the drip rate for comfort and checks on you throughout. Most drips take 45–60 minutes.
  • Go about your day. There is no downtime after a standard vitamin drip.

IV therapy vs. oral supplements

Oral vitamins are inexpensive and convenient, and for many people they are enough. The trade-off is absorption: part of what you swallow is lost to digestion, and high doses of some nutrients, like vitamin C, are hard to absorb by mouth at all.

An IV drip goes straight into the bloodstream, so the full dose reaches your body in one sitting along with a liter of hydration. That makes it a practical choice when you want a noticeable, same-day boost rather than a slow daily routine. Many of our guests use both: a daily multivitamin plus an occasional drip.

Frequently asked questions

Is IV therapy actually worth it?

It depends on what you want from it. If you are after a same-day lift in hydration and nutrient levels, or want to recover from a hangover, a long flight or a hard week without waiting on oral supplements, many guests find a drip well worth it. IV therapy is elective wellness care rather than a medical treatment, so it is not the right choice for everyone. Individual results vary.

How much should an IV cost?

At Drip Envy in Boca Raton, most IV drips are $249, including Rehydrate, Myers' Cocktail, Immunity Shield, Inner Beauty, Pain Ease and Hangover Recovery. Performance Boost and Cold & Flu Relief are $279; Migraine Relief, Weight Loss & Diet and Jetlag Recovery are $329; and NAD+ Power Surge is $649. Every price is listed on the menu and on each drip page, and member pricing is coming soon.

Will insurance cover IV therapy?

Generally, no. IV vitamin therapy is elective wellness care and is not covered by most health insurance plans, so plan to pay out of pocket at the time of your visit. If you have a question about a specific plan, we recommend checking with your insurer directly.

What is in a Myers' cocktail?

Our Myers' Cocktail IV combines Vita-Complex, magnesium, vitamin B-12 and vitamin C in a base of IV fluid. It is widely called the gold standard of IV wellness and follows the formula originally developed by Dr. John Myers. It is $249 and takes 45–60 minutes.

How long does an IV take?

Most drips at Drip Envy take 45–60 minutes once the IV is placed. Rehydrate is the quickest at 30–45 minutes, while NAD+ Power Surge is infused slowly over about 2 hours for 250 mg or about 4 hours for 500 mg. Allow a few extra minutes on your first visit for the questionnaire and vitals check.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM at our lounge on N Federal Hwy. If you prefer a reserved time, you can book online in a couple of minutes, which we recommend for longer drips like NAD+.

Is IV therapy safe?

When it is administered by a trained professional with proper screening, IV vitamin therapy is generally well tolerated. At Drip Envy every infusion is placed by a registered nurse under physician supervision, and you complete a health questionnaire and vitals check first so we can flag anything that would make a drip a poor fit for you. The most common side effects are minor, such as a small bruise or soreness where the IV was placed.

How often can I get IV therapy?

There is no single answer; it depends on the drip and your goals. Many guests book a vitamin drip every two to four weeks, while hydration and hangover drips are used as needed. Your nurse can suggest a sensible cadence during your visit, and we always err on the side of less rather than more.
